  While yes, some games stay with you since the beginning of your childhood, some games today that come to market today get forgotten in a week or so. I wonder why; well, it's not just games, it can be your favorite book or music from your childhood, which you still listen to to this day. Like for me, there was this game called Prince of Persia , Tekken, or Road Rash or WWE Smackdown: Here Comes the Pain, and I can't forget about GTA Vice City and San Andreas.
